Agitation in Kerala by SNEA(I) and BSNLEU called off it is shame on the part of Associations who were supporting corrupt officers for their corrupt activities and vindictive attitude towards the employees during this struggle :

new

As reported yesterday, Sri N. K. Gupta, Director(CFA), the director in charge of South Zone, visited Kerala Circle today, 20.08.2015 and held discussion with SNEA(I) and BSNLEU and the representatives of casual labourers to sort out all the contentious issues. In addition to Sri R. M. Subbaiah, CGM, other senior officers of Kerala Circle also participated in the discussion. Sri A. K. Jain, CGM, NCNGN who alongwith other officers held discussions with SNEA and BSNLEU on 05.08.2015 also participated in the discussions.
The discussions continued for Two and Half Hours. After the positive assurance from the Management, Joint Action Committee of Kerala Circle decided to call off the on-going agitation. Congratulations to Comrades of Kerala Circle. It is the Victory of our Unity and Commitment towards the Association as well as the company.
Major settlements are:

1. All Vindictive actions taken related to Agitation since June 2014 including Charge Sheets, Dies-nons and Transfers will be withdrawn.
2. Labour issues will be settled with reasonable increase within 30 days w.e.f. 1st August 2015. A Committee will be constituted for that purpose.
3. Further discussions will continue on HR and policy matters to improve the service and to bring back the healthy working atmosphere in the circle.
The agitation started in May 2014 ended after 14 months, settling all the issues eventhough lot of negative forces were working against that, even openly, supporting the former CGM who is facing massive charges of corruption. In the history of trade unions, we had seen first time that . It is shameful. It is time for them for introspection.

BSNL no one operator in the Month of July 2015:

new

Good news for BSNL after the launch of new schemes. For the first time after so many years, BSNL become no.1 operator providing maximum mobile connections in July 2015, pushing Airtel and Vodafone to no.2 and no.3 positions. BSNL added 16.1 lakh connections in July, 2015, almost double (86%) than that of the sales in May, 2015. Top performers are Bihar, Haryana, J&K, Karnataka, Kolkata TD, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and UP(East) circles. Other Circles also to come up like this by conducting melas and other marketing strategies.

Lunch &Closing hour demonstration on 12.08.2015 at BSNLCO, Circle/SSA HQs.

new

All Circle/SSA and Branch Secretaries are requested to hold massive demonstration today protesting against the Cabinet decision to form a separate subsidiary Tower Company. Comrades, this will start disintegration of our company. This may end up in strategic sale, disinvestment of the subsidiary etc. This is one segment which is growing very fast without much investment and giving huge profit to BSNL. If the growing segment is detached from BSNL, then how revival of BSNL is possible? If the real issue is tower sharing and monetizing, it can be done very well without forming a subsidiary.

If we are allowing subsidiary tower company today, then we are allowing dividing the company into pieces. Tomorrow it will be another subsidiary for land assets, and then it will be another subsidiary for OF network and so on. FINALLY WHAT REMAINS WITH BSNL WILL BE JUST THE LOSS MAKING LANDLINE SECTOR AND 2.4 LAKH EMPLOYEES! Can we allow that to happen?

SNEA (I) PB deeply mourns the sudden death of Com. Rajiv Mondal JTO Chandigarh Com. Rajive Mondal was Ex-president of SNATTA after promotion to the cader of JTO(T) he joined SNEA He was active member of our association. SNEA (I) PB and SNEA(I) Chandigarh SSA conveys its deepest condolences to family of Late Shri Rajiv Mondal and prays almighty to give strength and courage to bereaved family members in this hour of crisis. May departed soul rest in peace.
